Intimidation and Fear – The Story of Mrs. Najma Rozi (Ex-Ahmadi)

Mrs. Najma Rozi (Yousuf), daughter of former Ahmadi lawyer Ahmad Yousuf, stated in a TV interview (2017) that her father was murdered by the Ahmadiyya leadership:

“My father was a resident of Chenab Nagar, and my grandfather belonged to Qadian. I completed my Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Islamabad. In our family, my father was the first person to leave Qadianiat(Ahmadiyya Group) and embrace Islam. After him, I followed, and 200 more people joined us.

The reason behind my reversion was the brutal death of my father. He left Qadianiat (Ahmadiyya Group) and began unveiling the secrets of the Ahmadiyya Group that he had learned over the years.

Whoever became an insider would uncover the reality—it wasn’t what the masses were being told. When my father was murdered [by an Ahmadiyya Group member], we all knew what was going on [him revealing their secrets]. My father mentioned to his children and family on numerous occasions that the Qadiani Jama‘at (Ahmadiyya group) would have him killed very soon. This is exactly what happened.

It was very painful for us because the Jama‘at claims to be peaceful and uses the slogan ‘Love for All, Hatred for None.’ My father used to tell us that the Jama‘at,(Ahmadiyya Group) like a cult, had killed many people who disagreed with them. Those who did not listen to them were treated brutally. This became painfully apparent after my father’s death.

After his death, I started investigating. At the time, I was living in Abu Dhabi. I wanted to understand what my father had warned us about and what led to his murder. I wanted to know what my father had done to deserve such a brutal death. I don’t think anyone in Punjab has been murdered in such a vicious way as my father.

His back was covered in petrol and burned with cigarettes. Every single tooth was broken. His jaw was shattered. His neck was broken in three places. His backbone was crushed. There wasn’t a single part of his body that wasn’t tortured. His armpits and feet were severely injured with nails. They punctured his body with staplers. I have the crime scene video, which was made by ARY [a Pakistani TV channel broadcaster] in a documentary titled Jurm Bolta Hai [Crime Speaks].

I could not attend my father’s funeral, but the room where he was killed was full of scattered documents. He was tortured to reveal information about specific proofs or documents that could implicate the Qadiani leadership. However, my father had already shared much of this evidence with others.

Two or three months ago, a journalist named Rana Ibrar was assassinated by the Qadiani Jama‘at (Ahmadiyya Group).

I also feel in danger, as my house has been forcibly entered at least five times. Two malicious accidents have targeted my children’s cars. The Qadiani Jama‘at (Ahmadiyya Group) continually threatens me, saying I will face worse consequences than my father. But I want to tell them that they cannot control people through such methods.

I wrote to the current leader of the Qadiani Jama‘at (Ahmadiyya Group), Mirza Masroor, requesting an investigation into the people involved in my father’s killing. Instead of responding, attempts were made to murder me.

My husband was pressured to silence me. He was told to stop providing me with money and divorce me.

I ask the Ahmadiyya Group:

  1. How long will you run the Jama‘at like this?
  2. How long can you continue this based on lies?
  3. Why are those who support the truth killed?
  4. Why does the Ahmadiyya leadership force people into divorce?
  5. Why are those who search for real Islam threatened with the loss of their homes and families?”
