Modi regime’s silent war against India’s Muslim minority

New Delhi: A systematic campaign of destruction and desecration is underway in India, targeting Muslim mosques and religious sites.

According to Kashmir Media Service, emboldened by the BJP-led Hindutva regime, Hindu extremists are vandalizing Muslim places of worship with impunity, while the Indian judiciary prioritizes majoritarian sentiments over constitutional justice.

The demolition of mosques, renaming of Muslim institutions, and suppression of Muslim identity are all part of a broader agenda of cultural erasure. The Modi regime’s efforts to demolish thousands of mosques under various pretexts have raised concerns about the erosion of secular principles in India.

Human rights organizations and international observers are alarmed by the RSS-backed BJP government’s apparent agenda of ethnic cleansing. Muslims in India face systemic discrimination, and the situation has worsened under the BJP regime.

The international community must hold India accountable for its violations of human rights and secular principles enshrined in its constitution.
